Safety is the priority
The Level Crossing Removal Project is a program of the Government of Victoria, Australia, to remove 75 level train crossings in Melbourne. The Andrews Government committed $2.4 billion in the 2015-2016 budget to remove the first 20 crossings by 2018.
The Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removal Project included the removal of 9 level crossings, 5 new stations and incorporated precast piers, crossheads Super-T beams and hollowcore planks.
This project was completed with Westkon Precast.
