A new era
Precast Concepts assisted with the implementation of a state-of-the-art hollowcore production facility, inclusive of slipforming equipment, batching, concrete transportation as well as storage and loading cranage. The new facility incorporated all of this, along with the development of column moulds, stressing beds and 3-D mould development.

To enable the most efficient casting of all the precast components within their range, Westkon invested in an additional casting facility in Melton:
Total facility approx. 150,000m2
Large Undercover Production Area
Prestressing beds, with nearly 500m of varying stressing beds
Significant cranage capabilities, including 80t and 100t runways and a 100t straddle carrier
Other specialty moulds.
